A Sound Reinforcement Seminar for
the Church Community
Entitled
Providing Audio Worthy of Worship, Part II
with
Kent Morris

This is the seminar you have been waiting for! Due to popular demand and Lake Charles Music's commitment to provide our customers with the best service and information, we will be offering this special second seminar to all our church customers.

If you attended the first seminar last October, we know that you came away with a wealth of information. Well, Kent Morris will give Part 2 of that same seminar with a recap of the first seminar as well.

For those of you who did not attend the first seminar, and would like to attend the second seminar, consider visiting our store and purchasing the video from Kent's first seminar. This will enable you to receive the most benefit from the second seminar. This fast-paced two to three hour seminar covers audio issues as they specifically relate to worship environments. Topics covered include acoustics, the utilization of mics and speakers, proper mixing technique and system design. This seminar gives seasoned and volunteer personnel the tools needed to competently perform audio duties in church and the knowledge to acquire the appropriate equipment.

For those of you who do not know Kent Morris, he has a very diverse background in the music industry. As a member of the Audio Engineering Society for well over a decade, Kent has been active in the movement to bring professionalism into the church sound booth through education and encouragement of the local church sound technician. In addition, Kent has toured with and provided sound for a variety of Christian Artists, managed a dual room 24-track commercial recording studio, worked for a large scale speaker manufacturing plant and has given an extensive series of lectures on live sound issues for Peavey Corporation throughout the United States. Kent currently serves as an associate pastor in Atlanta, Georgia, also performing duties as a national engineer and consultant for the church market.

The cost of this 2 to 3 hour seminar is $10.00 per person with advance reservation for seating. Due to limited seating, please register at Lake Charles Music as soon as possible in order to ensure your place for this seminar! In addition, all attendees will receive a free Peavey Celestial Sound Book valued at $10.00. We will also have a drawing for a free Peavey Handheld Microphone to be given away at the seminar.
