"Lake Charles, Louisiana native sons are making waves coast to coast."
"Local entertainers Ed Frugé and Tony DuPuis are a couple of
Lake
Charles' hidden treasures. They sing; they write songs. Together,
they play a
myriad of instruments. Their songs feature the gruff Michael
McDonald-like
vocals of DuPuis and the smoother Kenny Loggins-type vocals
of Frugé.
Their concert is a unique energetic assortment of songs
using electric
keyboard/drum technology, acoustic drums and
guitar."
"Ed Frugé and Tony DuPuis have played music for years. From jingles
for
corporate customers, to rock and roll in area clubs, to writing
soundtracks for
movies, Ed and Tony have played it all. Along the way,
they built businesses
that let them put bread on the table. All the
while, the music kept going in
their heads, pouring out onto paper and
tape into the wee hours of the morning.
As Ed says in his song
Magic,
originally written for Disney, 'Don't give up on your dreams, follow
them
through,' and that's what these two guys have done. In their
concerts, calling
themselves
ETA,
the duo play music from their debut album
Trilogy
as well as songs from core artists who have influenced their music
styles."
"Magic happens when artists put all of their passion and love into their
art.
Trilogy
is magic. Magic that defies any category or musical genre."
ETA 's debut album, Trilogy , is a compilation of contemporary ethereal piano pieces, instrumental jazz cuts and pop vocal songs. Trilogy was released on-schedule, and is doing very well across the country! Get it online or at a vendor near you today!
